Pediatric Treatments Provided in Charlotte, NC

Ballantyne Pediatric Dentistry is pleased to provide our patients with comprehensive dental care and the latest pediatric dental technologies to ensure the highest degree of quality. We are pleased to serve patients and families throughout Charlotte, Arboretum, Waxhaw, and Indian Trail, North Carolina. We offer pediatric patients the following consultations and treatments:

  • First Dental Visit: We recommend that children see the dentist prior to their first birthday. It is our goal to provide an excellent dental foundation to both the patient and the parents, starting with a child’s primary teeth. Our main priority is to ensure that your child is comfortable and at ease in our office and in the dentist’s chair.
  • Emergency Dental Care: With children, and all patients for that matter, we understand that dental emergencies may occur. For many of these situations, you can actually help your child at home. If a more serious situation has occurred, please contact our office immediately at 704-752-1900.
  • Interceptive Orthodontics: Throughout your child’s early dental appointments, we can actually monitor their teeth, their development, and whether any orthodontic problems are present. If so, we can use interceptive orthodontics to correct any issues that may be present.
  • Pre-Operation Instructions: Prior to any dental operation, our pediatric dental team will discuss the operation, any medication that may be necessary, and how it will affect your child. At this time, we welcome as many questions and concerns as possible.
  • Post-Operation Instructions: After your child has undergone a dental operation or procedure, we will discuss how to care for their teeth, mouth, and jaw, depending on the operation. This may include medication, cleaning of the mouth, and specific foods to consume or not consume. We always welcome any concerns or questions for your child’s post-op care.
