As a native of North Carolina, Dr. Weinstein attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received both his Bachelor of Science in biology and his dental degree in 1998. Following his dental studies, Dr. Weinstein completed his pediatric dental residency in 2000 at Eastman Dental Center and Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. With his dedicated passion for caring for children, he opened his pediatric dental practice in Charlotte in 2006.
Always wanting to be at the forefront of pediatric dentistry, Dr. Weinstein completed multiple continuing education courses on sedation, behavior management, and new restoration techniques. He also received advanced training and is certified in moderate pediatric oral conscious sedation dentistry, PALS (pediatric advanced life support), orthodontics, and hospital dentistry. Dr. Weinstein is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Scott is an avid scuba diver, snow skier, traveler, and golfer in his spare time. He also enjoys any sport associated with his beloved Tarheels and boating on Lake Norman.
